I'm alive!

What a summer! Moved house, got a new job, got a new computer...
So yeah, we managed to move house and deal with all the funny things that sort of business throws at you. Gas, heating, electricity, internet, the bath tub leaking into the dining room - the usual stuff really. We all hung out together through out the summer enjoying our great little garden and the various inhabitors - some more than others (i.e. the foxes vs. the cats etc).
I quit smoking the next day and have only had the occasional drag since. Although the last one was 3 months ago. Yes, the ultimate smoker has quit! It's a miracle!
My faithful albeit much abused laptop finally decided to commit hara-kiri with an overdose of red wine and is currently a vegetable in East London somewhere undergoing therapy. I have therefore been forced to buy a brand new super duper laptop. Ah, life is so hard...
So there are various reasons for why I have been offline and away for so long. The most significant being that I really just couldn't be bothered for a very long time to write about nothing at all. My life has been very boring for the most of the summer. And the bits that weren't so boring weren't really anything to write about either. So there you go! You didn't miss out on anything really...
Right... I think I'm going to have a snooze now....

good for you, im glad lifes going swell, i read all these recent house movers in thier own house and it makes me that little more excited about living in my own home by myself. So your Blog today upped the happyness again thanks x

Hey Ina.
You have quit smoking... I am amazed! Good for you! Furthermore, it is good to learn that you have bought a new laptop, I can't wait to hear from you more often. Right now I am wrapped in blankets, because I have been outside all day long shouting at the school's two female football teams - a long, cold, windy and rainy day. Anyway, let's chat soon.
